Winter

Snow that lasts

Snowshoe or snowmobile to winter vistas few people ever see. Skip the lift lines on your own 100+ acre ski area, then ski miles of groomed Nordic trails and what local experts call the best backcountry ski zone in the area.

Leavenworth's Winter Sports Club adds rope tows, a terrain park and tubing. Stevens Pass and Mission Ridge are both within a 30-mile radius.

Nearby

The Wenatchee National Forest, the Cascade Range and Stevens Pass are all close by. Big Chiwaukum, Big Lou and Snowgrass Mountain are a few of the peaks nearby to climb.

Leavenworth, the alpine-style town in the heart of the Cascades, is forty minutes away. Have a beer and a soft pretzel on Front Street, or a fresh danish from one of the local bakeries.

For guided backcountry days, the neighboring Alpine Lakes High Camp offers experiences to residents.
