Access to winter sports

Leavenworth has it's own Winter Sports Club for family fun, with rope tows, terrain park, and tubing - as well as two 1st-class ski resorts (Stevens Pass & Mission Ridge) within 30-mile radius.

Backcountry Playground

Every new season at the Mountain Club brings with it a new way to experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Springtime meadows and wildflowers, perfect summer temperatures, vibrant autumn leaves, and endless winter sports await you.

 

As a member of the private community, you have access to backcountry hiking, rock climbing, and camping on some of the most majestic trails in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, including exclusive access to nearby trails that will lead you straight to the renowned beauty of Lake Ethel, Lake Julius and more.

 

During the warmer months, break out your paddle boards and kayaks and appreciate the crystal clear beauty of the alpine lakes and the diverse wildlife. By the time autumn rolls around, you’ll be hunting, trout fishing, or whitewater rafting with a view of the rich fall colors.

 

When the snow arrives, lace up your snowshoes or hop on a snowmobile to tour the snowcaps where you’ll enjoy winter vistas that few will ever see. Never wait in a ski or snowboarding line again with exclusive community access to your 100+ acre ski resort.

 

You can also experience over miles of groomed Nordic skiing trails, as well as what local experts deem the best backcountry ski zone in the area. And with some of the best long season snow conditions in the country, you’ll be able to appreciate your private winter paradise for even longer.

Nearby Activities

The world-famous beauty of the Pacific Northwest surrounds the Mountain Club at Alpine Lakes. Residents will have the advantage of easy access to the Wenatchee National Forest, the Cascade Range, and Stevens Pass. Big Chiwaukum, Big Lou and Snowgrass Mountain are just a few of the peaks nearby for you to ascend.

The charming Alpine-style town of Leavenworth, nestled in the heart of the Cascades, is only forty minutes away. Residents will be able to go out for a beer and a large soft pretzel on Front Street or visit one of the many local bakeries for a fresh danish.

For those who want to experience everything the wilderness has to offer, neighboring Alpine Lakes High Camp who will provide unbeatable backcountry experiences to residents.
